Casseroles dishes are not just for making dinner casseroles. They are great for baking all types of desserts. Whether you want to make a recipe from scratch or upgrade a mix, you will find delicious desserts for everyone. Fruit cobblers, crisps, crumbles, cakes, bars, brownies and puddings are some of the recipes included. I like to use leftover items to make desserts. If you have too much bread, make bread pudding. When you have excess milk, make a creamy pudding. Fruit going bad on the counter, make a fruit cobbler or crisp. I cook with everyday ingredients. I rarely buy specialty ingredients. I prefer dishes that have lids so I do not have to use aluminum foil. A lot of dishes have lids to store in the refrigerator after they are cooled and I really love them.
